Take
A Card™ is the brainchild of Dan Miller (Pen name Danial CrowTalker).
Since
Danial doesn't usually do much in the way of local business the idea
of putting up business cards on local bulletin boards came to mind as
a great way to let people know about us and the work we do.
After
doing a little thinking on the project, the thought came to mind that
it would be nice to be able to put several cards on local bulletin boards
and provide an easy way for people to take them.
The
idea was born to create a business card holder that could be pinned
to a bulletin board or any other surface, but after actually making
the first prototype, it became clear that once the cards were gone,
there would not be a way for people to contact us.
Our
business specializes in making custom chocolate molds so making the
special business card holders was easy enough, but also putting a web
link formed into them was possible to do as well.
Then
the plan progressed to being able to offer customized card holders to
folks that might want them. (You can order customized card holders in
our store)
We
shortly discovered that we could also put the card holders in many other
places too. They can be slid into window sills, car window seals, picture
frames, and could also be taped to hard surfaces or even used in presentation
folders. For artist alone, this offers a great solution for folks to
put their business cards on framed art without damaging the art or the
frames. Each card holder can hold up to 20 cards at a time.
Our
small business makes thermal formed plastic products like custom chocolate
molds, soap molds, concrete and craft molds, along with many other items
that can be formed from plastics. We also do laser engraving and cutting
or marking and can do laminating and CD/DVD duplication.
We
also do a lot of graphic design, and publishing in different formats
including to Amazon Kindle and other digital mediums.
